The Queensland Flood Relief concert on 6 February 2011 raised $11,818.76 in support of flood victims. This was a great result that exceeded our $10,000 target thanks to the generous support of Sydney's inner west community.
The concert, conceived and organised by the Leichhardt Espresso Chorus, brought together many great musicians in the inner west with the support of two inner west councils, Marrickville and Leichhardt.

Joining forces with the LEC were Marrickville Symphony Orchestra, Sydney Brass, Sydney Chamber Choir, the MLC Chamber choir, soloists and over 100 choristers from all over Sydney. All of the musicians donated their time and energy free. The concert was supported by Marrickville Council, Leichhardt Municipal Council and the Italian Forum Cultural Centre. LEC would also like to thank Crust Gourmet Pizza Bar Marrickville and the Summer Hill Wine Shop for their support. The $11,818.76 proceeds were donated to the Premier's Disaster Relief Appeal.
