LEC performed with the Stomp Company's Lost and Found Orchestra as part of the 2007 Sydney Festival. Over ten performances in January, twenty five thousand members of the art-loving public heard us, and saw us in our tasteful navy blue cleaner's coats, scarves and rubber gloves, rocking on the scaffolding high above the Lost and Found Orchestra! The choir performed the two closing numbers of the show which was an outstanding critical and popular success.

The creators of the Stomp Company (Luke Cresswell and Steve McNicholas) presented a brand-new production, featuring the Lost and Found Orchestra of up to 50 musicians including the Leichhardt Espresso Chorus in a unique evening of irresistible orchestral manoeuvres; part concert, part dance, part comedy, part pure performance.

This was the fastest-selling concert in the history of the Sydney Opera House – with Frank Sinatra as the runner up, thirty years ago. From cacophony to symphony - a celebration of found sound. It was the 2007 Sydney Festival's loudest, brashest and most exhilarating offering and an outstanding critical and popular success.
