This, LEC's second-ever program, was performed by a choir of about 40. The souvenir program (pictured left) relates to the performance at Leichhardt Public School on 13 December 1998, but this repertoire had also been performed two days earlier at St Columba's School.

LEC's repertoire for these concerts was:
Set 1
The water is wide; Summer Wind; Nanourisma; Banquet Fugue; Oh Susannah

Set 2
Shenandoah; Skye Boat Song; Lean On Me; Wade In The Water; 3 Nursery Rhymes

Set 3
Gaudete; African Noel; Dona Nobis Pacem

Also on the program for this concert was Decadence and the Newtown High School of the Performing Arts Junior Choir. Decadence had been formed in 1997 by Michelle Leonard from her senior students at the Newtown High School of the Performing Arts. In 1998 they featured in the Schools Spectacular. Decadence's Billie McCarthy (pictured right) has subsequently shared the stage with LEC on many occasions and has composed several Christmas songs for us.

To conclude the concert, the combined choirs sang:
He Is Born, The Holy Child
   God Rest Yea Merry Gentlemen
   Ride On, King Jesus
